ROCHELLE PARK, N.J., April 3, 2017 – On Thursday, April 20, Sanford Herrick, founder and managing principal of Case Real Estate Capital, LLC (Case), will participate on the “Successful Approach to Independent Sponsor Deal Structuring and Differentiation” panel at iGlobal Forum’s 5th Independent Sponsors Summit. The session will start at 11 a.m. at the Park Lane Hotel located at 36 Central Park South in New York City.
During the session, Herrick and his fellow panelists will address a range of topics. Those include how independent sponsors can successfully downsize the cost and risk structure, new strategies for finding value-add opportunities, fundraising for deals and the importance of the operator role in each individual deal.
Herrick has orchestrated investments in more than $5 billion worth of commercial real estate over the course of his 30+-year career, and in early 2013, he founded Case. Under his direction, the company has a $100 million lending and purchasing platform and is active as a high-yield private lender; a purchaser of performing, sub- and non-performing debt; and a mezzanine and equity investor. Case concentrates on deals in the $2.5 million to $30 million range for transitional assets located in the New York metro area and in South Florida.
